Gen Art SF finished 2004 with its 7th Annual juried Exhibition Emerge at the Old Mint building off 5th and mission streets. The event was freshly minted with artistic talent from the Bay Area's finest emerging artist. It was also particularly exciting because of the long awaited reopening of the mysterious and legendary Old Mint Building.

Over 500 guests from international, national and local venues entered, marveled and explored this 19th Century icon of endurance for the city of San Francisco.

There was something for everyone as guests were treated to sensory delights from Sushi Groove, Oola and Rica restaurants, to name a few. Staff members of Lucid Beauty, Sumbody bath, Body & Home Spa, and Passport Cosmetics were at hand for facials, eyebrow waxes and makeup applications while others just danced the night away: www.genart.org .
