REVIEW: SkyRoll Luggage

Shaped like a huge baguette, this innovative luggage on wheels (natch) has a garment bag that velcros around the outside, eliminating the need for a separate carry-on garment bag and giving you the freedom to pack delicate fabrics. Because your clothes are rolled instead of folded, the suitcase manufacturer says they are more resistant to wrinkles. I tried it on a recent trip to the American Riveria (Santa Barbara) and when I arrived at the Brisas del Mar hotel, my clothes were ready to wear -- a first for me.

The suitcase itself did not have a lot of room but the design made it easy to fit all my essentials. On the bag's top, a zipper compartment, shaped like a makeup case, eliminated my need for a separate cosmetic bag. Best of all, you can reach in there for your melatonin without opening the whole suitcase. The other suitcase compartment worked for shoes and casual clothes.
