ADONIS OF FASHION: Zac posen

From his artistic family and liberal schooling in America to his experiences in East London at Central Saint Martins School of Art and Design to punk, Zac also revealed the different experiences and ideas that inspire his creations.   Always gathering, always in search of that next inspiration, he told me he was already working on the next two seasons of his line.  

For someone who does not sleep, he had enough energy to supply the entire room creating laughter and charming the hearts of many.   He definitely brings a refreshing taste of youth and understanding of pop culture where instant gratification is a must.   As an aspiring designer, Zac used to beg to get into Alexander McQueen shows.   Today, many young designers are inspired by his presence in the fashion world. After the lecture, Zac was more than happy to meet some of them and to sign autographs to his fans despite his packed schedule.

Before the day was through we said our goodbyes.   I shared a warm hug with Susan as she showed off Zac's new brown leather handbag to me; part of his new accessories line.   He had just presented a trunk show at Neiman Marcus before arriving to this venue and was flying back to his New York studio that night.

According to Zac, luxury and glamour is not about wealth, but about self-love and enjoying life.   Something Zac is obviously doing right now.
