Matt Nathanson Live in SF

In between songs he told stories and made jokes.   "It's just so nice to just chat," he said.   Even though Matt is no novice to performing live, the only thing that has changed over the years is that his fans know his songs and they sing along as they did that night on several occasions.   He also strums a mad 12-string guitar "all in the name of rock!"  

Matt kept the show lively with his humor, including his renditions of pop songs, and the inclusion of his audience in his act.   It was as though he were playing at home for a house full of friends.

Over the span of his career, Matt has performed with Fiona Apple, Maroon 5, and John Mayer and at places such as NYC's Hammerstein Ballroom and Berkeley's Greek Theatre. However, whoever he is with and wherever he is, it's his fans that he focuses on more than all else.
