Matt Nathanson Live in SF

Matt, who considers himself a touring musician, began his career performing the coffee shop circuit in southern California, where he was attending college.   He released his first EP in 1993, while he was sophomore, so that fans could take something home with them after his live shows.  

His songs are inspired by things that shake his world such as artwork, films, or other songs that are done exceptionally well.   By creating music from things that inspire him he feels "connected to the creative process."

For the next few months Matt will finally be taking some time off the road, something he has not done in a long time, before he heads back into the studio in March to record a new album.   He also plans to hit the road again in April.

He always knew he wanted to make music and only in his wildest dreams did he ever think he would find himself doing it like this.
