It can be tough starting your own business...

life in the tech business
An interview with the CEO of an IT firm

by Kris Takahashi

In the past decade, the tech world has gone from boom to bust faster than Ben Affleck's career.   Or perhaps it was the other way around.    In any case, while some have made billions, others have lost everything, and everyone else is somewhere in between, those coming up in the world today are walking into a world as confusing as Puffy's "Vote or Die" slogan.   (Wait, so if I don't vote, you're going to kill me?   I'm still scared to leave the house)

Of course, I'm predicting a Travolta-like rise for Affleck in the year 2017, and the same might be true for the small tech business in the near future.    As far as the present is concerned, we profile the CEO of the Southern California based Rapid Repair Tech, on the IT world and the struggles of starting your own business.

What is it that you do?
I'm a technical service provider.

Can you dumb that down for me?
You can call it a one-stop tech shop.

What made you decide to go into business for yourself?
I got sick of working for the man.
