First Impression
It's so light and compact. Dexia rack folds up to less than a half an inch flat. It is portable and durable, made of sturdy aluminum. As I open the rack, I notice that its triangular structure provides even more support. The crossing cables ensure that dexia rack does not collapse.
So what does it do?
Dexia rack is a stand for your laptop computer, made for 15'' powerbooks, however it will work for almost any laptop. It allows air to circulate around your computer so that it does not overheat or burn your lap. The rack is not ideal for a desk setting unless you place an external keyboard under the rack.
Its not so good for sitting with your legs crossed Indian style. The rack is not wide.
What are ideal situations for usage?
1. sitting on the couch typing
2. sitting on the floor, legs straight
3. sitting on a bed
Lasting impressions
Unless you have a wide chair, the rack is not useful. Dexia rack is best for sitting on the ground. Dexia rack does an excellent job of keeping your computer in the air so that heat is released from the computer. It is a wonderful product and a must have for travelers and people who do not like to work on a desk.
